REMOVE JARED TATE FROM DIGIBYTE NOW - ALLOW FOR GREATER DECENTRALIZATION OF THE PROJECT.
Jared Tate founded Digibyte in 2014, and while he has done lots to get the project off of the ground and improve on its codebase, his time as gatekeeper of the project must end.
DigiByte's core principle is decentralization, or so it purports to be. This core fundamental principle is currently at risk due to many issues with the current state of the network such as the supply bug, ASIC dominance of certain Algo's, Jared Tate deciding which pull request to authorize, etc. Other issues include bugs with dandelion, terrible mobile wallets, etc.
We no longer need to be associated with a founder that tweets out his personal views on the state of governance in America or vaccine roll out any longer. While the effects of this cannot be understood by him and some community members, there is still a persona that needs to be upheld for maximum benefit for DigiByte.
We propose that Jared steps away from the project entirely and hands over the Github login details to the foundation, and a voting system for authorizing pull requests is implemented. For too long the codebase has suffered under his rule and the community needs to make itself heard before he cause anymore value destruction.
