The AMAs team apologize to the members of Linkin Park publicly.

The members of Linkin Park already have had a rough year and the LPfamily did their best to make them win the award for ‘Favourite Alternative Rock Band’ at the 2017 AMAs.
However, when the members showed up, they were denied entry because they didn’t have the ‘appropriate’ passes. They were finally given a temporary pass and allowed to enter. After receiving the award, they were not allowed to return and were escorted out by the security and an ACTUAL LAPD officer.
Mike’s Instagram clips appear to show the band receiving "temporary" badges allowing them into the main event room, and then later he took footage of himself pleading their case to security guards and an LAPD officer, who apparently didn't know who they were.
Ultimately, the band was permanently removed and not allowed back in to the AMAs.
Mike made the whole thing humourous and brushed it off but that doesn’t excuse the AMAs to treat artists, who they themselves invited, in such a disrespectful manner. They should publicly apologize and take responsibility.
