Emily Mestizo started this petition to Senator Dianne Feinstein and

Health insurance is extremely expensive in this country leaving over 27.5 million people in 2018 who didn't have health insurance at any point during the year (Zhaman). We need to change our health plan system due to the fact that not all Americans have access to these because they don't meet the requirements to be accepted. Some Americans make much money to qualify but not enough to afford  a private health insurance plan. Every year in america more than 45,000  people die due to not having health insurance.

We decide as people what changes we can do, by lowering overall costs in the healthcare system. However we would have to give our government overall control over prices but negotiation and regulations can always be dealt with later on down the line. The people of normal or lower income should not be responsible for the healthcare they deserve. The hospitals will be under government supervision so the regulations are enforced to all people. When in need of hospitalization patients can go in free of charge.
