San Diego Wants a Face to Face Town Hall with Senator Diane Feinstein

This is an unprecedented time in American history. We have a new President who won the electoral college but lost the popular vote by just shy of 3 million votes. The intelligence community has concluded that a hostile foreign government interfered with our elections to the benefit of the individual who is now President. The entire government is now controlled by one party, the republicans. There are many issues being pursued by this President and the republican party that will negatively impacted millions of Americans.
California has the largest population of any state in our nation. California is also solidly democratic, as evidenced by both our state house and in our national congressional representation. Californians are deeply concerned about the agenda of both the republican US Congress and this President. We have concerns about national security and the possible compromised loyalty of the US President and his family to foreign interests. We have concerns about healthcare, the environment, immigration, infrastructure, the justice department, civil rights, the Supreme Court, and all the various issues that the federal government addresses.
With an estimated population of 1.4 million people, San Diego is the second-largest city in California. At this critical time in our nation’s history we, the citizens of San Diego, feel it is imperative that we have direct access to all of our elected representatives. We respectfully request a face to face town hall meeting with our Senior United States Senator, Diane Feinstein, during the April 2017 congressional break to discuss the pressing issues of today.
