Our HOA is trying to remove healthy trees in our Northwood Community. These trees are at risk of being cut down because of unsubstantiated claims that they pose a fire hazard and/or are “diseased.” None of this has been proven with any valid documentation. The benefits of trees far outweigh any supposed risk HOA claims the trees impose. Trees benefit our quality of life by reducing pollution, absorbing CO2, providing shade, reducing a/c costs, blocking out surrounding freeway noise, and finally keeping our home values up.
We have started a petition to stop this arbitrary process. Please join many others in our community by signing to protect the trees and the character of Northwood. Let’s keep Northwood green!!!
