I believe that fairness across diabetes benefits is what’s required - diabetes is life threatening type 1 and 2 why should type 2 not receive the same funding. As a type 2 diabetic the cost of the Freestyle Libre glucose monitor, at $95.00 per fortnight is an expense so many of us cannot afford, type 1 diabetics receive this device for free! Both Type 1 or 2 will be at risk of death if they are not aware of there glucose levels, this items has an alarm system built in to notify of both high and low glucose events which is life saving. I now live in fear of sleeping through a sever low glucose event, and not surviving it. My family history of diabetics tells me this is a real possibility. Please help me get equal funding for all type 2 diabetic - thank you
