Many OFW's face problems today regarding their work. They cannot find jobs within the country, and thus, they face man issues, such as being abused by their bosses, and they can possibly even die. We want to send a letter to the Department of Foreign Affairs to send back the OFW's who live in the Philippines to find jobs for those who suffer from monetary issues. Enclosed here is our letter to the DFA.
"To the President of the Department of Foreign Affairs,
It has alarmed us students that people abroad are being abused by their bosses, and it has made them traumatized. There have been many cases wherein the workers do not get the proper needs in order for them to survive and provide for their families in the Philippines. In other words, the reason why we are sending you this letter is so that you can help us support the workers who are victimized or in trouble to get jobs and the necessities for them to provide for their loved ones. We want to prevent situations wherein the workers will be abused, and since these mainly happen abroad, families here in the PH will be concerned about the welfare of their family members or relatives abroad. We want you to help us in saving these workers, and with your cooperation, people from abroad will for sure benefit from this cause.
In St. La Salle, Jesse Cruz, Brian De Ocampo, Elyse Guiriba, and Jerard Jacinto."
