Light up the Devonport foreshore walking track.

The exercise track along Victoria Parade needs sufficient lighting. It is dangerous for all who use it.
We need to make the Devonport City Council aware that the public NEEDS this!
We have so many people wanting to exercise along this track, after work in winter, and also early mornings, but it is just too dark and dangerous between the boat ramp and the Bluff.
It has to be made safe for everyone!!
In June 2016 Council announced, in adopting its 2016/17 budget approved $52K for Victoria Parade pathway lighting for 250m north of the Cenotaph.
It takes it to the next carpark (see photo)
The intention is to then continue with further sections each year, subject to budget.
If this is the case, and the council continues to support it and approves 250 meters each year, it'll take approximately 6 years to get lighting to the bluff...
This work is yet to start!!!! Lets let the council know we have not forgotten.
