Upgrade British Era Mumbai Suburban Railway Infrastructure and fast-track stuck projects

The Mumbai Suburban Rail infrastructure build by the British is in urgent need of modernization. The number of commuters using the suburban railway has increased manifold and the current infrastructure is no longer sustainable. An average train carries 4,000 commuters jammed into it at rush hour. They’re designed for a quarter that number to travel comfortably. We commuters do need a better deal. And there are a number of projects planned that are supposed to give us just that. But they appear to be stuck indefinitely. We request the projects sanctioned under MUTPII (2A and 2B) and MUTPIII to be fast tracked to make suburban rail travel safe and comfortable for the people of Mumbai.
