Once again news hits the headlines "Date: 01/07/2019 - Mumbai Rains: Stampede-like situation outside ladies compartment at Thane Station". Everyday people travel like hell to go out for work and in the middle end up losing their lives. Every year 3000+ people's die in rail accident. That means 8+ people's die in rail accident at Mumbai per day. Isn't it a sick thing for Mumbaikar's.

Everyday people travel in such overcrowded trains, It has become their habitual. Short complaints no actions, give bad words to railway authorities, government and then they continue to do their daily work for survival. Just blaming railways and government, issue won't be getting solved. Railways and government can provide services to a certain limit. They have provided train frequency of 3 mins still all trains come overloaded. Ab isse jyada kya kare...

The main and sole reason for such overcrowded trains is migration of people from other states to Mumbai. This problem is not only faced in railways, but also on roads, buses, bridges and metros. Every mature guy knows that city infrastructure is now not capable of handling such a huge crowd. So it my wise request to Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis please take immediate actions in controlling our city population.

Steps to control:
1. Spread awareness regarding overcrowd problem faced in Mumbai to other states. [In a way that this is not a government failure but due to infrastructural limitations.]
2. Control on hiring candidates from different states in all sectors.
3. Control in housing sector  because locals can't buy houses in Mumbai because of higher rates and can't even leave city because it is their hometown so they shift to Navi Mumbai,Thane,Dombivli,Kalyan. Then what happens is other states wealthy people come and buy houses and settle family here, so such a way population increases day by day. No offense for settling up to Mumbai but by this way they are only one who creates issues to us as well as them.
4. Create Job outside Mumbai - as on daily basis people travel from long distance to work in core Mumbai. But if they get proper jobs around them then it will help to reduce city workers population.

Lets start this campaign with the Hashtag  #StopOverCrowdingMumbai and spread the awareness for the betterment of human life in Mumbai.

Spread the word.

Thank you,
A wise Mumbaikar
