Respected Sir, 

I am from Chalisgaon (Dist. Jalgaon), writing the petition on behalf of Sindhi Community to accept our precious occasion of CHETICHAND in official festivals of Calendars. 

As children of Sindhi Community & citizens of India, We are observing that our SINDHI NEW YEAR (CHETI CHAND) has not been involved in official Calendar, inspire of it being a Hindu New Year.

I request on behalf of our Sindhi community to involved us & treat us equally as other communities are.

As we are also citizen's of India & want to grow our culture, we expect that our demand would be listened & appropriate decision would be taken as we also had Human Right to celebrate our culture as all communities do. 

We also demand for Sindhi language being official language should be taught as a subject in schools also should be having official "SINDHI CHANNEL AND SINDHI NEWS CHANNEL" , so that our coming generation could keep our language alive and follow our rituals and traditions feeling proud to be a part of Sindhi Community as an officially accepted Hindu Community.

We request that some consideration on this petition can be heard and we could get official acceptance at least after three srtugling generations since more than 70 years.

We positively look forward towards the authorities to take some concrete decisions on it, so that we could nurture our culture. 

As of now, many of our children are not talking in Sindhi, and many a times they fear to be identified as Sindhi. We want to remove this fear from our Children's Mindset, so that they should openly talk in Sindhi, wherever they are and they could feel proud to be the part of Sindhi Family. 

Lastly, I thank that our petition will be taken into consideration & some changes could be done accordingly.
