Myron V. Askew was 17 when he committed his crime. He is now 45 and has grown and matured over the 28 years of his incarceration; not just through programs offered through Michigan Correctional Facilities, but through Christ , within himself he has transitioned to be better and do better . He is no longer that child that acted on impulse but now a man wishing to have a second chance at life and to give back to society by helping young men who are facing everyday challenges such as: peer pressure, gang violence, single parent homes, foster homes, and poverty. With the help of his eldest daughter, Almonique, he hopes and prays to start a nonprofit organization geared towards girls and boys who are in those sitiuations. As you can see Myron has family that not only loves and support him; but a family who wants him home. Please ask them to release Myron Askew! Request that they grant his parole with no further programing done in prison. It's time, well overdue.
