Encourage Proposed Dollar Tree Development on W. Davison to Respect Community Standards

As residents of this community, we appreciate and encourage investment along the Davison corridor. It is important that investments in this community comply with the highest standards of safety, health and aesthetics.

Gecko Enterprises, LLC should comply with existing zoning requirements for the Dollar Tree store it proposes to build at 2300 West Davison. Specifically the development plan must include:

  1. a land-scape buffer between the parking lot and the right of way;
  2. a masonry (brick) wall between the parking lot and the alley that abuts the residences on Clements Street; entrance to the parking lot of Dollar Tree through this alley should not be permitted;
  3. interior landscaping within the parking lot; a wide expanse of pavement should be broken up by green space for both environmental health and aesthetics.
