Hi guys! My goal with this petition is to force Shatter and Case in Destiny USA out of our beloved city. If you’re signing this petition then I assume you, like hundreds of others have had the same experience that I am mentioning in this petition. For starters I’d like to mention that the technicians there are absolutely NOT certified or experienced in any way besides watching a YouTube video. This my friends is how the issues start. Many people have realized that after the repair to your devices things go smoothly for a little bit (if at all) then, screens freeze up, home buttons and Face ID stop working, you suddenly can not connect to WiFi or make a call and speakers and cameras go haywire or do not work at all. This is because of damage to the very fragile cables and components in your phones. These inexperienced technicians cut through cables, cause static from not wearing gloves which fries the internal boards, leave out screws which causes things to come loose and break and many more inevitable scenarios. This is how employees at Shatter and Case are trained. They’re taught that this is an extremely easy job and that the small stuff doesn’t matter. Now, the victim is YOU. Another person without a working device. So now, you complain and INSTANTLY you’re to blame. You’ve dropped your phone after repair within minutes of leaving the kiosk, you did something wrong after just 5 minutes prior walking away ecstatic that your phone is not broken anymore. Eduard and his very young and inexperienced staff blame you and send you on your way, and if you put up a fight he threatens with security. Now, you’ve paid over $120 for absolutely nothing besides a broken phone and some anger. You then take your device to the Apple Store, only to find that they refuse to help you because a third party repair shop opened your device and put a cheap third party screen on. There are no Apple parts in your phone because they were stripped and replaced with third party parts. Apple sends you away. You were not told that this repair would not only cost you your hard earned money, but also your device. You were not told that once they open your device it voids any coverage through Apple or your provider. You now have nothing. Does this sound familiar? If it does it is because you fell victim like many others to Shatter and Case’s scam. The manager Eduard not only ruins your devices, but also goes through your personal info on your phone. Pictures, card info, etc. are NEVER safe. Let’s change the topic now, you simply need a case for your phone. He pushes $50+ Otter boxes, speck cases, pop sockets and more. Only they’re very cheap and fake knock offs. Convinced you that his $30 screen protectors are the BEST then you come back complaining because it’s peeled off only after a day. Why? They cost 52 cents on eBay. His sale tactic is lying to everyone to make a sale. This is copyright infringement!!! It is highly against the law! Some may ask how I am able to tell you all of this and why is this so important to me. Well, I fell victim as well, only as an employee rather than a consumer. As an employee who is owed over $8000 in overtime, as an employee who went countless days working open to close with no breaks and as an employee who quit because I couldn’t watch him take advantage of innocent people anymore. In return for me quitting, I received threats, horrible words and slander in my name. So as an ex employee who believes enough is enough, I contacted along with several others the Mall office. Nothing can be done by them because the company’s current on rent.  I am here to fight for all of you who have become victim. Let’s get that fraud of a company out of our city! There is strength in numbers. Thank you!
