I thought that something would be put into place by August 5, 2021 to protect our children from the Delta variant covid-19. Here it is a day before our children start school and nothing has changed. Unlike the virus when it first started, this new variant is targeting our children this time. We must help keep our families safe by continuing to wear masks on the schools. The focus should not be where this virus originated from but how it's affecting our lives, as far as, sicknesses and deaths. If it doesn't affect your child that bad, imagine what it will do to the parents and grandparents that they will transmit it to at their homes. Let's put aside all political views and help protect our children and ourselves. So please sign this petition for mandatory masks in Desoto County Schools. Let's stop the spread!
