To say the least, this year at Hershey High School has been challenging. One of the only things that have kept this school year manageable for many students is the asynchronous Wednesday. On this day, many students go to work, attend clubs, catch up on homework, and get help from teachers. There has been a lot of talk amongst students and teachers that the administration plans to eliminate asynchronous Wednesdays in the fourth marking period. Without asynchronous Wednesdays, many clubs would have no time to meet. Also, many students would have no time to get in touch with teachers and receive extra help. The goal of this petition is to prevent that from happening because it is the general view that it would prove detrimental to many student’s lives and mental health.
