Open up view of the river Foyle

The river Foyle and it’s valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty, that remains largely hidden behind large stands of old, untidy and untended trees.
The A2 is a major artery into the city, and opening up views of the magnificent river would be a fantastic welcome to visitors, and welcome home for locals. The views up river when travelling from Derry to Strabane would be even bettter and would live long in the memory of visitors.
To open up these great views, I propose that the council remove the trees from the riverside of Victoria Road, between Stoneywood and Stoneypath, a stretch of approximately 1.2 miles.
