In the UK, energy firms will charge a higher rate for energy for those people using pay as you go meters

These are the people who are most vulnerable and on the lowest income and are in the unfortunate position of being least likely to afford it

This should not be the case.

Energy companies should charge a flat rate regardless of the method of payment and not be penalising people  for being on minimum income

I want the Dermot Nolan as the head of Ofgem to step in to ensure a fair tariff for all users that does not differentiate between pay as you go or monthly payers
