Using the bathroom is a basic human right and a necessity. We all know that "holding it" can be bad for our health. Holding in urine can lead to UTI's, damaged pelvic floor muscles, kidney stones and much more. 

Depending on the age, children should be drinking 4 to 8 glasses of water a day. This, obviously, leads to needing to urinate more frequently. 

However, the school system has decided to allow teachers to withhold this right from our children as a form of discipline. And what happens if they decide to go use the restroom anyway? They get suspended. 

This is not good practice for our children and it needs to come to an end. After speaking to many parents, I have found out that this is happening way more than I ever imagined. Let's put it to an end. I need as many signatures as possible from others who also support ending this inhumane practice.
