Please sign this petition if you are concerned about the safety of residents on Highland Ave. The goal is to work with the City of Buffalo's Parks and Streets Dept. to find a workable solution for the implementation of traffic calming measures on Highland Ave. to increase safety for residents and children, especially.  Speeding on the street has been a problem for some time but now, with the new double school speed zone on Delaware, additional traffic is flowing down Highland Ave.

Many residents have complained about near misses by speeders when backing out of their driveways.   We also have children playing in or near the street.  The increase in traffic from pick-up trucks and large SUV's is particularly concerning as the likelihood of fatalities increase significantly.
