Pandemic greatly affects everyone's living. The arising number of covid patients creates an alarm in everyone's head. And in order for everyone to stay safe, lockdown and different protocol were implemented. People should stay at their home and do their works online and home based. Including students who are in need of internet to go schooling in an online platform. But in the country's situation, Internet connection is a major problem. Not everyone is able to get a good signal and also not everyonr have the capabilities to provide internet for themselves. Internet itself is very costly, and the struggle of classing online results to different effects to student's live. It can result to depression and not every students can pass their activities on time. To make it simple, it is not effective and efficient for everybody. That's why, there should have an Academic Freeze for everyone, the thing that people should focus today is how to keep their self safe and sound from the virus spreading. Online classes doesn't create an effective learning process. While some are able to connect, most are struggling to revive and survive from stress due to upcoming due dates and the poor internet connection. 

Implementing an Academic Freeze in the middle of this pandemic should not be an issue. This is a petition from students wanting to learn something and not through online. And why is the reason students are being determined to sign a petition for Academic Freeze?. Main reason is online classes, wherein everyone is forced to attend and have a good internet connection. But what if students don't have wiFi's in their home? What if the student's doesn't have good connections in their area? . It's a reality factor why most students are not capable of attending their classes online. Everyone are not capable of providing a stable Internet connection, given the fact that the Philippines is considered as one of the countries having the slowest connection worldwide. Another thing is providing materials needed. How will the students manage to provide materials they needed for their classes? What if the student's doesn't have printers or anything they need in the class?. Then there's the hassle of going out and finding materials that student's needed. Laptops, mobile phones, printers are also major factors why opening of classes cannot be effective for everyone.
