Throughout a patient's life, it is nearly impossible to keep a complete record of their health history; meaning care providers lack the necessary information to make an educated decision. Over your lifetime, you will have multiple care providers, they'll use health record systems, and none of them will have your complete health history. This poor communication leads to poor continuity of care, which is most apparent in the care of our Veterans. After a lifetime of service, it's common for a veteran to have to fight for claims and wait up to two years for appeals processing, they deserve accurate and streamlined healthcare. Veterans deserve to have continuity of care across their VA and non-VA provided care, where systems communicate for easier proof of payment. Where systems communicate so providers can make educated decisions, and prevent deadly mistakes from allergies intolerances and inaccurate prescriptions. Whether they served in wars past, or in one of the recent wars, veterans everywhere deserve accurate, and accessible medical documentation; so lets make it easy for them.

Pulse Connect has set out to make an impact, and drive interoperability for Veterans everywhere. We look to provision Veterans with a patient access tool that provides them an seamless experience for connecting with their previous care providers, to more easily share care plans with care team members. We are petitioning congress, and the secretaries of state to help get behind our cause. With a decentralized health cloud, we can put access and control of patient medical records back into the hands of the patient. By making the patient the center of the data exchange, we can truly equip providers with what they need to make informed decisions about patient care.
