The Agent Orange Act of 1991 has a stipulation that a claim for disability on agent Orange had to be filed within 1 year of exposure! I would like to see that stipulation removed all together! My dad was in Vietnam at the age of 17, he along with many other father’s brothers sons was exposed to them very dangerous toxins causing many health problems to our veterans. As with many of them my dads health problems started later in life however with that stipulation the Veterans Affairs can deny any claims for agent Orange due to this 1 year stipulation! My dad just like so many others was sent into battle at very young ages  many miles away from home knowing some will never come home and some will come home but never the same, they fought for our freedoms they gave their all for our country and now the Veterans Affairs has found a way not to help them in their time of need! Many doctors have told us that the neuropathy and skin cancer my dad now has is from agent Orange but the Veterans Affairs keeps denying his claim only because of the 1 year stipulation! These men are our past they are the reasons we have the freedoms we have so I’m asking for your help in fighting for them now!
