Agree with Military Exchange services being accessible to ALL veterans

I am an honorably discharged veteran, deployed to the Middle East during wartime, who served exactly 8 years, 6 months' time in the US Army. I became injured during my service period, forcing me to accept a medical discharge from the Army. I received a disability "rating" of less than 30% from the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, which only allows for 2 years Post Exchange (PX)/Commissary purchasing privileges after separation from the military. This is the case for ANY service member, regardless of branch of service, who receives a VA rating of less than 30%. Veterans who have retired after accruing their 20+ year service time, as well as veterans with a VA rating OVER 30% are entitled to LIFETIME privileges at any PX/Commissary. I believe honorably discharged veterans who are medically discharged, regardless of their VA rating, should be entitled to these same lifetime benefits. I know of old Army buddies whose teenage children are given the privilege of shopping at these locations, while I am turned away. This, to me, is nonsensical. I ask for your support to enact a change regarding this issue as expediently as possible. Thank you.
