Keep Joondalup license centre open to motorcycles and scooters!
This petition made change with 310 supporters!
The Department of Transport has reviewed their decision, they have listened to our feedback and have decided to re-open Joondalup to motorcycles and scooters from 5th of August with a limited amount of tests. Thank you to everyone that showed their support!
From the 1st of July Joondalup license centre will be stopping all motorcycle and scooter tests due to insurance issues in regards to the storage of the assessing motorcycles.
Plenty of alternatives have been offered including from private parties however the management has swept it under the rug as they see the motorcycles and scooters as a minority.
This will mean no motorcycle or scooter tests for the general public in between the shires of Gingin and Mirrabooka.
This will limit many of the public’s opportunity to get licenses for jobs, cheaper transport, travel to uni and school and let’s not forget people’s freedom of enjoying the open road safely.
Show your support with us from Hillarys north boat car park riding to the Joondalup license centre, we need the people’s voices to be heard so your opportunity to get your license at Joondalup will not be taken away!
Bring your bikes and voices on July 20th at 9am to show your support for motorcycles in the Joondalup area!
