Sudden termination of aircel services without even pre informing their customers about deactivating its services seems to be like cheating its customers. if they wanted to deactivate their services, they must have informed its customers prior to taking that step.In this digitalized scenario, when we are asked to link everything to aadhar, and that aadhar is already linked to one specific mobile number(which for me was a aircel no), when people are encouraged to move towards online money transactions, but you cant do any transaction without the mobile number which is linked to your bank account , because you wont receive any otp( and again for me here it was the same aircel no). All my e-wallets,irctc account, kyc,online portals,college address...etc etc everywhere its the same no that i was using...and it unfortunately happened to be the aircel number. Since last 5 days i am trying to port my number, but now i dont seem to see any hope other than writing this petition... why dont they understand the gravity of the situation. Many online portals suggest that it cant be done now...why....because they are not generating UPC Code...This situation that i am facing today must be same for many others in different parts of the country.I have seen many people over many different portals asking for solution about this problem. So on behalf of all those people I request the ceo of aircel company and the ministry of telecommunications to kindly provide some time to either port this number to some other network, or kindly yourself port it to some other network, but dont terminate your service so abruptly.because it is already causing many difficulties.
And I request all the people to kindly sign this petition asap so thay it may be heard soon by the higher officials.
