There are approximately 250,000 street children in the Philippines. Street children are those children who experienced family problems, hunger, neglect and etc. which led them to escape from their homes and live part–time on the streets.
This program address the issue of hunger among street children, to help and to improve their eating habits with the help of different organizations such as Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). This can be done by serving nutrient-rich foods, conducting activites that can contribute to good health. This program is designed with food program to provide health and wellness.
This program can surely contribute to the wellness of our country to end hunger among street children.
