Problems in redemption of matured National Savings Certificates VIII series

We are facing problems with redemption / receiving payments of matured National Savings Certificates VIII series. the local post office teams are forcing us to open new savings bank account in their local offices. 

As per the last budget (2017 / 2018) the payment of matured NSC VIII series is supposed to be credited to savings bank account. To meet this condition, the postal staff is insisting that we open a new savings account with local post office (or the place where we had bought the NSC).

If an organization like LIC can send their policy maturity amounts to our savings account directly - through NEFT or RTGS, why the post office cannot adopt similar practices?

It will be great if Postal department makes these changes at earliest.

at present the staff even derisively  asks us what will you do to get payment for certificates that will mature in future? This kind of attitude and coercion is NOT acceptable. 

The postal department and ministry of finance should make necessary changes in procedures and start making these redemption payments and support the DIGITAL INDIA methods.
