The Gawler Belt and broader community are calling for Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) to review the exising speed limit of 100km for Redbanks Rd, and implement a speed reduction to 80km from the existing 80km speed zone to the intersection of Redbanks Rd and Nottle Rd. 

This is a major connector route for many to access Gawler, including young and inexperienced drivers attending Xavier College. 

Following multiple accidents, the community is calling for a reduction in speed from 100km to 80km.
