Simple words can hurt too. Verbal Bullying is type of bullying who uses words to hurt a person, it includes insults, teasing, intimidation, homophobic or racist remarks, verbal abuse, and name-calling.

According to Sherri Gordon(2019), name-calling is one of the most damaging and painful types of bullying. It leaves victims with negative messages about who they are burned into their memories. It's also harmful because name-calling attempts to define people.

Nowadays, teenagers, and kids tend to call other people the way they want. For example, a chubby person, some often call them “piggy, fat, and etc.” Little do we know, people who were called by these might loose their confidence. They might become conscious on with their appearance and personalities, and they will start to ask their selves ‘why am I like this? Should I change?.’ And the worst is, some might feel anxiety, or depress.

So why need to call someone with harsh and insulting words? Not everyone can appreciate those names. We all have our names, we deserve to be called by it.
