Lady Neal started this petition to Department of Justice

I am starting this petition because Elkton Federal Prison warden Mark Williams, needs to be fired! He is a heartless person who doesn’t not follow the rules or the law! He has been sued many times, and he doesn’t have the safety and well being of our loved ones at heart! Way before covid-19 hit the world, including the prisons, Elkton officials did not and still do not follow the rules!! Inmates have fell victim to abuse from staff, and their living conditions were always horrendous! Now, in light of the coronavirus, Covid-19 pandemic that has taken countless inmates lives at Elkton, and where countless other inmates are still sick, falling sick, or still do not know if they have covid-19 due to limited testing, Warden Mark Williams has taken it upon himself to play the role of God! Ignoring Judge James Gwin’s ruling in the class action lawsuit that was filed against the prison for its lack of action to get medically vulnerable inmates released to home confinement or transferred to another prison facility! Warden Mark Williams is also taking the law into his own hands, and telling inmates they don’t qualify for compassionate release, when they do! He’s changing inmates prison statuses from nonviolent to violent, and telling other inmates who qualify for compassionate release, that their recidivism rate is too high! Anything to keep qualified inmates locked up so he can make sure he keeps his salary where it is! He has shown us that he can not be trusted to make good decisions for our loved ones! They were not given death sentences!!! LET OUR LOVED ONES LIVE!!! We pay these people’s salaries! It’s high time we start making them do their jobs! Please sign this petition if you want warden Mark Williams gone! Fired!
