Bonolo Djaje started this petition to Department of Justice

The students who fought for free education are still being persecuted by the state for fighting for something which was an injustice to the South African youth. Their fight has deemed fruitful however they are still facing charges by the state.

We request that these students be pardoned of all their aligned offenses, they do not deserve to be in the prison system, they are not a danger to society, instead, they fought for a noble cause which benefits previously disadvantaged people and opens doors for future generations. Their actions were not of malice or hatred, they were fighting for the greater good of the country.

The video attached is an interview conducted by SABC News which gives a brief history on the cases of Mcebo Dlamini and Khanya Cekeshe. These students fought for something which is now legalised by the state, however they are still facing charges.

Prison is made to reform individuals who are a danger to society, all they fought for is education. There is no justice being served when people are being crucified for fighting to make the system just.
