Gee Jones started this petition to Department of Justice
  1. Oshay has been in federal prison for nearly eight years for a non violent drug offense he caught when he was 21 years of age. Oshay received bad advice(inaccurate information about the law) from his lawyer causing him to miss out on a plea offer that would have resulted in Oshay being released from prison nearly a year ago.
Oshay is soon to be resentenced, in which the court can release him that day with time served if it so chooses. But he needs your help!
needs your help! Oshay needs as much support he can get in support of his release. He has strong support in the community and a strong family system. He has two children who hardly know their father because he has been gone most of their lives, and he desperately wants to fix that. Oshay has big plans for his future, he knows how the community needs strong black men and more black leaders, which he learned from being raised in poverty. Oshay is excited to start the Eppe program(ENVISION PLAN PREPARE EXECUTE) which is aimed to provide mentors to help disadvantage an at risk youth. The objective of this program is to help children find resources for a career and to show them the proper steps to see their dreams and aspirations manifest, ad prevent kids from joining gangs. So If you believe that Oshay Deserves a second chance and should be released from prison, please sign his petition.
