Factory farming has become a huge issue in our modern society, and the resource flow is unsustainable. The UN has forecast that by 2050, our agricultural water use will increase by 20%, due to our exponential population growth. These issues must be fixed.

In-vitro meat has already undergone initial research, in 2013 when Mark Post created the first ever recorded consumable in-vitro meat, served to 3 diners, including Post himself. This was a huge leap in solving our agricultural crises, however, there has been minimal advancements since then.

The high reliability and beneficial potential of in-vitro meat is impressive, reducing carbon emissions significantly, increasing the usable quantities of land mass, and a huge decrease in the amounts of animal slaughtering. World hunger is also likely to improve, lowering the price of grain, and making meat sources more available

The proposal is for the Australian Federal Government to supply funds for further research development and testing for these products, and to practically have a new food source by 2035.

If you want to help change our environment, food supply, and help animal rights, please, sign the petition, and help to grow the future of Australia.
