It has recently come to my attention that Gun Stores across the United States are allowed to remain open and deemed "ESSENTIAL businesses" during the Coronavirus Outbreak. The exact wording on the Dept. of Homeland Security website is as follows: Workers supporting the operation of firearm or ammunition product manufacturers, retailers, importers, distributors, and shooting ranges are allowed to remain open. 

This is absolutely RIDICULOUS.   Gun manufacturers are busy making guns/bullets when we are in desperate need of MEDICAL MASKS?  We CANNOT go to City Parks, Beaches, Libraries or Bookstores but we can go to the Gun Store and Shooting Range? 

Come on, AMERICA you are better than this!    Inmates are being released from prison in record numbers. Domestic violence and suicide rates are increasing daily.  Stress levels are at an unprecedented HIGH in our nation. Let's use some COMMON SENSE. Putting guns into the hands of people that are scared, hungry, unemployed, depressed and mentally unwell is a recipe for DISASTER.  Plain and Simple. No matter how you look at it. Please help me CLOSE these Gun stores during the outbreak.  Thank you for your SUPPORT.
