As we all know, the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has changed all of our lives in one way or another. In early 2020, at the onset of the pandemic, all colleges switched from the offline mode to online classes, online exams, and a whole virtual educational set-up was created just so that learning did not reach a stand still. But, at these uncertain times of the new Omicron variant which has sparked the beginning of the third wave of the pandemic, the esteemed Tamil Nadu Government remains undecided about the mode through which the upcoming semester exams are to be held. Thereby, we students have taken it upon ourselves to do the best we can to make the government realize that, after having had an entire semester online, it is extremely unfair, not to mention unsafe, that students be expected to write their examinations through the offline mode. Let us elaborate - despite the fact that our teachers and professors have been trying their best to make online classes as effective as the offline mode, it has still not been the same. Therefore, the student body of Tamil Nadu strongly believes that the upcoming end-semester exams must be held online. This is a humble request that we put across to the Government of Tamil Nadu.
