To whomever reading this... 

I would like to bring a serious matter to your attention during this pandemic but this issue has existed long before the pandemic. 

Government health workers are not given the rights they deserve as humans.E.g.The right to work in a healthy environment.

This petition is close to my heart because my mother is a health worker who along with some of her co-workers were neglected by the department of health. 

At first they did not receive enough PPEs to work with and as soon as one person was confirmed to have the virus the department did not do anything to help their clinic. 

It was then required for each of them to get themselves tested. And to date the department has not sent anymore PPEs nor people to clean the clinic thoroughly.

A few months ago people were petitioning for schools to be closed because we as school children were going to infect our family members and today I am in the exact opposite situation. My mother and her co-workers all over the country were named 'essentials' but today the very same country they toil for is unable to recognize them as humans. It didn't occur to the country that health workers especially under the government are at more risk of getting the virus.

Looking at Tshamahanzi Clinic no one would ever deem me wrong of this statement. I am pretty sure that there are more government clinics that look like that, if not worse. 

Our parents are made to work in filthy places trying to save lives. Who is saving theirs?? 

Many Children will be left motherless if the government does not do anything about this.

The Department of Health has to do something about this. Not only should the clinics in urban areas be taken of we as a country know where the government lacks and they are not even addressing the matter.

SAVE HEALTHCARE WORKERS IN THE RURAL AREAS.
