To mandate vaccination as compulsory to all working employees may not be the answer. Still, it is more on the right to proper information about the facts and advantages of the vaccine. Given that every person has the right to decide for their own welfare, the only thing that the government should focus on is maximizing the proper cascade of pertinent information and guidelines so that everyone may decide whether to get vaccinated. From there, we came to the conclusion that mandatory vaccination for all Filipino workers should not be a hindrance to their continued employment. We want to remind all employers not to be biased against their employees and respect their rights and decisions.

If mandatory vaccination is a law, then this may affect us economically and socially. It will take away the privileges and rights to take care of our own human bodies because we are forced to do actions against our will. We have freedom for our lifestyle, but what is essential is that we must learn how to take care of ourselves and have discipline when obeying the law. You are responsible for whatever happens in our society because even the most minor actions can make a change or a difference. We strive to work and do our best just to provide a healthy and peaceful community for the next generation to come, and some people even sacrifice more than their blood, sweat, and tears. There’s nothing wrong with not taking the vaccine as long as you know how to comply with the rules and regulations implemented by the government.

"The virus does not discriminate, neither should we." Individuals who stand for their rights, beliefs, or faith must not be put into such treatment as we remain a democratic country. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals can be carriers of the virus so there shouldn’t be discrimination against the unvaccinated.

“Individuals vaccinated against COVID-19 as indicated in the vaccine card shall not be considered immune from COVID-19, unless otherwise declared by the DOH based on reliable scientific evidence and consensus.” (Republic Act No. 11525-RRD, Section 12)
