Andrew Cleckley started this petition to Department of Health New York State

The State of New York is attempting to revoke my Funeral Directors License unjustly. I've worked extremely hard in order to achieve what I've achieved. I started on this journey in 2004 as a driver for a local Funeral Home. In 2005 another opportunity in this Funeral Home presented itself, which exposed me to my passion for life; Funeral Service. After deciding to make this make career choice, I started school in 2006. After withstanding setbacks, I graduated in May 2011. Upon completing a one year residency, I became a duly Licensed Funeral Director. The most uplifting moment of my life. From that moment on it was my goal to own a Funeral Home. In 2018, I made that dream come true. And now New York State is attempting to take it all away from me. In the middle of the pandemic of COVID-19, where Funeral Directors are "First Responders", risking their lives to serve. New York State is attempting to hold me responsible for the actions of others. I am only guilty of helping others. Individuals took advantage of my kind nature, and now my life's work is at jeopardy. Please help, if you will.
