Clean up Daintree Ave Nurses Hostel

The nurses' hostel is an abandoned and derelict building for a number of years now. It has become an eyesore, is neglected, has negatively affected property values in the area and poses major health and security hazards.
The building is now being used by many vagrants as a "home" despite the hazardous condition. The situation is getting worse by the day. Taxis are now being seen coming in & staying overnight. Children are seen on the premises throughout the day. Lights are being switched on throughout the building. The kitchen facilities are all lit up.
1. Drug addicts are a major problem. They are stripping the buildings of items of value & possibly drugging on site.
2. Squatters & vagrants have moved onto site.
3. The building has electricity but no water.
This situation obviously poses major risks to us all, and no one seems to be taking any responsibility to resolve the issue.
This is an issue that needs to be resolved urgently before it spirals out of control. We want our municipality and the relevant Departments to take accountability and remedy this plight before we reach a point of no return.
