Red list countries are already struggling with financial crisis due to covid outbreak. In such times, its hard to choose London, being an expensive city, as a destination for further study. Yet the determined and ambitious students are somehow sticking onto their goal by taking up loans and other financial aids. On top of it, paying a massive amount of £1750, which is nearly 1.81 lacs in Indian currency, just for a 10 day hotel quarantine is an unreasonable expense to bear. Waiving it off will lighten the financial burden on students and more students will be able to pursue their goal of studying in London this year. So we request the government to pay hotel quarantine charges on behalf of students coming from red list counties. Or provide all the students with a provision to pay for it after a year and half or in small instalments over a period of one year.
