Release Newark Hospital from the PFI debt, upgrade services and adopt new management structures that work for the local community

Newark Hospital is currently under-used and under-resourced even though 100,000 people live closer to the hospital than any other hospital. By releasing the hospital from its Private Finance Initiative (PFI) debt an expansion of services can take place under new accountable management that will benefit local patients and the finances of the NHS.
