Where do we begin?

A series of human and civil rights violations have occurred against my family that has resulted in death, inspiring me to form this petition in the spirit of preserving life. During the year and half long investigation additional protected classes were added to our complaint with the DFEH by the DFEH and then recently a letter was sent to me denying our rights and removing all protected classes that were actually added by them. We requested an appeal of 6 months, and were given a few additional days. I then again requested another appeal extension, after a heated discussion with the DFEH appeals supervisor, she they determined that the most time we can get to appeal is until the last day of this April yet the constitution allows for due process which we are currently being denied of. Despite them taking over a year and a half to come to their decision which lacks any evidence refuting my complaints, they still are not providing the demographical data of the case workers and decisions made in similar cases since 2007. As we franticly work to get enough signatures to have enough time to mount an appeal, so we can have their decision overturned.

In the midst of this, other human and civil rights violations have taken place, requiring us to file yet another complaint before this one is accepted. As systemic racism rears its ugly head, we just ask people of all races, familial status, genders and religions to stand united with us. Sign our petition to show that we as a people are looking out for each other with a united front. The current unconscious bias was put on display when one of their representatives stated that race is irrelevant, in a country where redlining has become a common practice.  The department has also refused to release historical data on the case workers and previous made decisions that resulted in the disadvantage of african-americans in particular, yet in reality, any family who has suffered from redlining tactics in the United States.

We created this petition to maintain the fairness in the process of litigation afforded to civilians in America, yet specifically sacramento, arden-arcade area which is under sheriff jurisdiction. It is important that we sign the petition to prevent the manipulation of police force and court systems to forcibly remove us while civil rights issues are still at hand. The purpose of this petition is to preserve life and point out the tactics of discrimination in real time as well as in advance to prevent that outcome. We ask that the outcome of this situation be in the favor of children, as well as education, which are both secondary to housing.

We ask that we get the equal amount of time to appeal that the DFEH took and we also ask for transparency in historical data that relates to our case as we first establish historical bias. We request historical data on DFEH, as well as Sheriff or other law agencies that have enforced removal of families who have also filed claims with the department. Its important that we gather the data in order to display the pattern of lack of enforcement of civil or human rights. As to say that the sheriff does not show up to prevent property managers from continuous abuse of tenants, nor does the DFEH so there is a void of justice in this area of housing which is dividing our community.

This petition is first, going against their decision to give us 4 weeks to appeal, we need 6 months at the least yet we are wanting to get equal amount of time as they took which would be a year and a half, approximately 19 months at this point. We ask that each person signing this be made aware this a dual purpose petition, first purpose being to extend the appeal timeline and the second being to overturn their decision.

We ask again, that you reread the petition, and ask questions if you have questions. Its important to also support financially if possible by visiting www.BlacksBank.com or www.CompostGrowEatRepeat.com
