Detritus, also known as garbage, is one massive dirty problem. In Metro Manila, it is estimated that 8,636 tons of garbage is generated per day, i.e., 0.7 kg per person per day due to its more modernized lifestyle. Where are we all putting our trash? How can we solve the pressing matters of declining landfill sites and increasing amounts of toxic gases that are released? If we decide to prepare for the construction of an incineration plant, which produces electricity through the burning of detritus, then it is possible to reduce the dirty wastes in our country and increase the power supply that we are in dire need of.
