Yes to Anti-Racism Education

This petition made change with 40 supporters!

Imagine being made fun of because of your beliefs. Imagine being subjected to hate and violence just because of your skin color. Imagine being afraid of being yourself.

Racism is everywhere. Every single one of us can fall victim to this act of hate. It usually starts at home but it can also start and be developed in schools. Schools play a significant role in the students’ understanding of racism. We usually have discussions on how equality is important but more often than not, a lot still treat racism as a joke. For example, many students use the ‘n’ word for fun, not knowing the meaning and history behind this word. Schools should not ignore and must address the issue of racism. Schools still have the chance to educate the students on the many social injustices present in our society, such as racism. We have to do something about this before it's too late. Implementing the Anti-Racism Education in the schools’ education systems would surely help diminish the rising acts of racism present in our planet.
