I am a Grade 11 Student who is worried about the academic pressure that might be put on me and my fellow students as we return to school. Since the Lockdown was initiated, keeping up with the online school work was not easy at all and this is because of increasing data costs which we have to provide for ourselves with no help from the school whatsoever. I kept in mind that we are not all from the same financial backgrounds and some students may not be able to even receive the online work which is clearly not fair because we can't be ahead with work while other fellow students are in the dark. What happens when we return to school? 

I am prepared to speak up for myself and those who feel the same way as I do. We all agree that the school year is indeed ruined and we'd prefer to continue next year where we left off, but we know that won't happen since students are not listened to by government. As Grade 11 Learners the marks we get this year are supposed to help us apply for tertiary and with all the stress and pressure from the online classes which do not work for most we are worried that we're not going to be able get the marks we had intended to get at the beginning of year.

Our voice as Learners needs to be heard, we can't be forgotten whereas all sectors have some type of relief except us
