I want to close down schools because of the high amount of Covid 19 cases. I recommend that Secondary and Primary schools shut down and the students do online school.

Firstly, I think that with the amount of people getting Covid 19 at the moment, the risk of getting Covid at school is high. Even with open windows, there is a risk that children can spread the virus towards one an another.

Many students have elderly people in their family who have a high risk of getting Covid 19. Even if the virus doesn't effect young people as much, the impact on elderly people is big.

Many teachers and students will already not be in school on Thursday the 6th because they have Covid. Online school is the only way to solve our issue.

We are sick of wearing masks and freezing in the classrooms because of the open windows. We want to keep the cases low so we can go back to normal. Leaving schools open will just leave us with more and more cases.

Studies have shown that there were more cases in between Christmas and New Year's Eve than in 2020. So I say we act now before it's too late.

So please, close down the schools if you want to keep Covid cases low.
