Support Education Funding

It is easy to believe that education had its changes over time. But as more time goes on the main belief that we cannot change or erase from peoples minds is the reason why we should fund proper schooling in the first place. This debate over “Should we fund schools or not” even made it as the official resolution of the year for Policy Debate. This is a heavily contested topic, and is relatively easy to solve. The main thing to consider is the exclusion of minorities, and the assimilation of minorities to underdeveloped schools. This is really important to consider because as urbanized areas become hotspots for the ornate schools, we see large suburban areas with a substantial amount of minorities getting placed in underdeveloped schools due to zoning. This leads to a lower achievement rate compared to the ornate schools. This is almost identical to the principle of gerrymandering. Instead of dealing with electoral votes, we are overseeing the effects of minorities constantly being placed in underdeveloped schools, with primitive curricular standards. This is something that is worth taking action for. If we don’t take action as soon as we can, this way of racial gerrymandering will continue and will become the center geopolitics extending to the next generation. Stopping this now is key to changing the world around us.
