Support Equal Access to SUSI funding for all Third Level Students

Please support our campaign to raise the issue of inequality surrounding access to SUSI funding for 3rd Level students.
Full-time undergraduate students at state approved private third level colleges, are being denied access to apply for SUSI funding towards the cost of their college fees. As a result, the full cost of the course is being borne by the student and their family, many of whom have to take out bank loans or part-time jobs to cover the cost of their course.
In contrast, full-time students attending similar courses in state approved universities and institutes of technology can apply for funding and maintenance grants. In addition,SUSI is spending over €4 million a year funding Irish students attending colleges in the UK.
We believe this situation is unjust and should be corrected. All eligible students attending state approved courses should have access to SUSI funding, regardless of their choice of institution.
