During Covid, students, especially first year students, are struggling not only with having to learn online but trying to live in their small cramped rooms with limited access to further facilities which have been closed to them.

Mental health is already a serious problem within this age group without having to think about the financial issues. By signing this petition you can help to get either a refund or a discount for these students which they should be entitled to. 

Let's help these students to have a brighter more positive future. They are our future and do not need any more restrictions placed on them. These students will be in debt for many years to come for wanting to become the best they can. 

University's and the student accommodation companies need to be understanding and act now. The Department of Education needs to get control and take action immediately.
